bait digging Have dusted off the trusty fork and will soon be off hunting the humble lugg. Are there any new (over 6 years) rules that I should be aware of. I always back fill and take large worms only.

Re: bait digging Nice worms there Gremlin. Unfortunatly would take me a while to get to anywhere near you due to the white stuff on the floor. Must get me some skis. Used to do a load o digging at Stifsky and moreston on the norfolk coast when I lived out that way.

Re: bait digging Nice bit of lug there, if i cud only get that everytime i go fishing . That, for those who dont know, is what very good quality bait/lug looks like, and anything different keep your money. Good post. If i lived near you mate my rod would be ready to go. Just looking at that bait gives me heart and huge confidence, doesnt mean you are going to catch but by god youve a great chance. As i said good post.![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: bait digging Most of us in the Solent area have access to lug and rag ... some make the effort; others keep the local tackle shops going (which I do support). When I was 10 years old, I dug lug for two and sixpence per hundred. I now value them as 'blue chip' as far as my fishing goes. ![]()
