Re: Best shelter?

Wouldnt change my beach buddy for a cheaper model....its the perfect shelter for all conditions and copes with high wind very easy... not sure the cheaper models would!! easy to set up easy to slide into rod bag nice and light for them long trecks down the beach!! evn fit two people in em if needed.....said it before and ill say it again....10/10

Ollie.

Re: Best shelter?

The ron thompson is brill. Paul lingham was using one on Sunday. Took moments to erect and was very stable.

Re: Best shelter?

will say buddy is best but have ron thompson and does the job at 1/2 the price
saw a shakespeare being put up & seems too many pieces and struggled in wind where as £14 brolley stayed up, so go with either of others as do give full protection

Re: Best shelter?

should add that make sure you have space to let shelter hang/stand to dry after every trip. even though made of nylon they will develop mildew if rolled/put away wet and then its £40+ down the drain
