Talking beach zombies

i was wondering if this is confined only to norfolk beaches, because here in norfolk were plagued with what i call, beach zombies.you can fish any mark, isolated ones, ones that have a 2mile trek to get to etc.it can be 3am freezing & blowing a hoolie, then out the darkness looms a zombie..(caught anything ?) where do the they come from. i dont mean fellow anglers their always welcome for a bit of a natter about bait, tactics etc. i mean the zombie types with mad suggestions and questions.one zombie actually asked me if carp can be caught from the beach...CARP !
at night i use my head lamp to get rid of them, its got 2 settings, wide beam and (intense retina scorching beam) that usually works,i also use misinformation,ie yes mate, just caught a big lobster it headed for the dunes. off they go torch in hand on a lobster rescue mission! one cold dark windy night i was approached by a big scary zombie, with wild matted hair, crazy bug out eyeballs,it loomed up to me pointed at me and in a loud voice boomed,( when are you coming home) it was the wife,ha ha,but really im interested do you get zombies on your patch?

Re: beach zombies

Re: beach zombies

I rekon its just a Norfolk thing mate, Ive had it to. They appear and disappear with out a trace after asking pointless questions. Im all in favour of a natter about fishing but they just strike me as wierdos!
