Re: fladen rods

Never used or tested but £26.00 is a giude to what you will get

And for that kind of money I would wait till january and see what the sales bring

Just depend how often you go and what type of fishing you will be doing with it , cheap does not always mean c--p though

Re: fladen rods

i want to be able to do the odd bit of beach fishing when i can, but did not want to spend too much on a rod just yet, i can always upgrade at a later date and keep it as a spare

Re: fladen rods

Well if it had a different name on it say penn you would be paying an extra £10-15 for the rod

Me and Old smoothound had a nice chat with mick (Mr Fladen - if I remember the name ) basics are he gets the items made for him in china ect thus cutting out the middle men

Like his style
Just check the guarantee

Re: fladen rods

There's a lot to be said for cheap rods. My second rod is a Leeda XL 12' (£45) beachcaster and for distance casting it's better than my Penn

Re: fladen rods

true and we fishermen spend say £5.00 on rag each trip so think of it as five trips worth of rag
