| reel service !!!! how often do you dudes clean or should i say service your reels ???ive just had my 4 multis apart as i dont think ive cleaned them for a while (15 trips or so ago )  they were full of grit and sand and all the other beach debris,just wondered what the rest of you done ,how you clean them and what with, and what grease or oil you use ????? look forward to your comments... the welly !! __________________ obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated .. species hunt team winner 2005 and 2006..with old smoothy..     |

| Re: reel service !!!! havent dared take new multiplier apart yet(only had 2 days) but rinsed off asap after sunday(covered in small gravel c$%p from slapton), fixed spool can only rinse and wd40, depends where been though __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go...and if you do go please let us know :D |

 Re: reel service !!!! Just did my Abu 7000's at the weekend. All taken apart and cleaned with cotton buds (as soft as i can get them) clean fresh warmish water. Then tuned back up with a bit of Rocket fuel!! Be careful when you take reels like this apart you can unbalance the spool... |
