My time

Hi to all. Ive been fishing for many years and along the way fished with the best and i have alot off experience and i mean alot, and it takes time and a well trained finger to reply also. Tips i give will catch you fish if i dont know i wont reply but if i do it will catch you fish. Everyone is intitled to ask and reply and the best advise is normaly ignored. I respect all of you wheather you are new to fishing or like me an old timer well a very fit, i train 6 days a week, a young 42 year old. In fishing it takes years of trial and error as you know and i dont know everything, but what i do know catches fish. Photos on site does prove you have learned where to go but if they arnt there you wont catch them, at this time of year i can travel 364 miles from were i live and catch ray up to 20lb, cod up to 12lb and bass over 10lb from the shore i know there are a lot of them on the right night so i will fish for them but no piont of me going down to the beach near were i live as i would need a boat in summer to catch them. If i do reply i am giving top tips to begginers and saving them a fortune on waisted tackle. If i was to list and pics off every fish i have caught on site it would be a lot of fish i can tell you. Bait and learning to fish your venue is the top key to success good weather bad weather etc rods and reels second. Learn your veniew what bait catches was it day or night all them fish were caught etc etc. Merry christmas to you all. Paul

Over a period of three consecutive tides, I managed 46 sizeable plaice.
See ' Anglers Mail' and 'Angling Times ' 5/4/89 and "Sea Fishing " magazine July 1989.

COD - 3 for 33-12-0 Hayling beach December 1989.

Penn Masters National Boat Final, October 2003 Weymouth. Second place, again ….(£500)

Now, 'Studdy Boy', if you've got lots of valuable knowledge to pass on, do what I do and submit pics and articles to the magazines. Or contact the Forum Webmasters and ask if they'd like some instructional stuff.
Remember, photos/diagrams are more important than the text for magazine stuff.

Oh, I forgot -

1975-1979 (Summer vacations) Worked as ' Deckie' and traceman aboard Capt. Russell Young's "Sea Wolfe", Bermuda.
Catches included Blue Marlin 678 pounds, Tiger Shark 563 pounds, Wahoo to 80 pounds, Alison (Yellowfin) Tuna to 200 pounds, Barracuda to 75 pounds and Dorado (Dolphin fish) to 40 pounds. Nice work if you can get it!

Good luck with your angling career

Re: My time

very impressive list from some one who is dedicated to sea angling .
Just looked at the amount of bream , i had six in a session once and thought that was good,
Nice one one again and thanks for putting your list up and may you continue to keep catching
Even tho i only live yards from the beach i have never fished it as much as i should do {more of a coarse man as the years catch up with me } but if i ever wanted good advice i now know where to come

Re: My time

You aint going to catch a blue marlin were i live thats for sure gremliny boy now are you, anyway that was not my piont. Pictures of fish and catches are great if they are there. Anyway 3 years i caught a dog she had pups or sacks and i didnt have a camara to hand but my mobile was at hand took a pic and when i came home as it was raining, lost photo and phone water logged. Anyway dog would of smashed the english and irish record easly 6lb, not a huss as i had 10 dogs that night, i would of had to kill her for a record, she was returned alive. As for prizes and teams and fish i have caught your portfolio looks bleak. Anyway i am going to sign off today, fed up with crap been thrown in my face. But i will say this to you if the fish are there you have a chance of catching them and have good bait and knowledge of your veniew not 3000 miles away. Anyway good luck to you all. By the way the guy who taught me was in the irish team fishing the world champs no less than 9 times shore, the best the phil taylor of darts. My time. Paul.
