lure as a spoon -- what do u think ?

i took a small crystal yo-zuri minnow about 7 grams and almost 3 inch length
well i made a hole in the back and fill the lure with small lead balls
then i sealed it with silicon.

now, the lure weight about : 20 grams and i wanna use it like a spoon.

what do you think, it gonna catch some fish ?

how do you recommend to play with it ?

Hi Xythki
Hoping you don't mean like a flounder spoon
Just chuck it out like normal and wind back in.
Does it sink on its own now? Did it before?
It looks like it used to be a shallow lure that would sink when retrieved - if it sinks on its own now you could find it just keeps going down to the bottom.
If it does you may have to take a bit of lead out or take the vane off the nose.
I guess a lot goes into the design of them so it's best not to change them too much.. but heynothing ventured... nothing gained.
Good Luck.
