| Flounder Meet Part 2 Did I read a thread recently that there are plans for another flounder bash on the Taw in the New Year? I hope so, the only problem is I'll have to choose between that and Huirst Castle as 2 passes in a month is highly unlikely. Our little spot on the Taw is one of this month's hot spots in Sea Angler, apparently it is teeming with flounder to specimen size, schoolies and large bass from September to January so I guess they were just on holiday for the weekend when we were last there!  Also, I'm hoping to be able to get out for a spot of cod fishing one night between Christmas and the New Year if anyone fancies a few hours either side of the brdige in the Bristol channel. Will have to check tides and diaries first though before I can confirm anything.    |

 Re: Flounder Meet Part 2 Pross, Im going to be cod bashing on Tuesday night ( well just bashing I expect ! ) - 14th if you fancy joining me and my mate ? Will probably go for New Passage or Severn Beach dependant on time - if its new passage we need to be there about 3 hours before HT otherwise loads of people will already be there !!
