lol i dont know that much about them just pinch a bit of sand/shingle from your local beach (dont get caught doing this!!!!!) you want about 4inch's of it covering the bottom. i pinched mine from slapton sands i use a plasterer's bath too keep my eels in local to me they sell sand eels £4 for a scoop you get a good 100 eels per scope in my tank i can hold 4 scoops i use a fountain pump run through a pond filter then the outlet is a small section of tube (i am using a 3ft length of old fishing rod then too keep the water cool (more in the summer) i float 2x 2 2liter coke bottles full of ice water in there....once they have melted toss them in the freezer again and do the same the next day http://website.lineone.net/~trevorhall/ this may help :) __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think!

i can't get it up either mate but if they're roughly the same price as the one's dave gets according to him they should be like £4 for a scoop (bout 100 eels)

well i know the guy that sells them near me also sells them somewhere on the north devon coast (not exactly sure where) as for the water.....we take big 5 gallon drums down to the harbour fill them up then fill your tank with them then once u have that sea water in your tank all you need to do is check the saline levels once a week or so. with evaporation your tank water will get saltier so just top it up with a bottle or two of fresh water to bring the level back to normal. we found the level of normal salt water by testing the sea down the beach i think most petshops that sell fish will have a saline tester __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think!
