Re: Sea Fishing Hooks I used to use a lot of Mustad, Kamasan and Cox & Rawle hooks. I now use an un-named brand in a plain box from Korea. 100 hooks which only cost between £3 to £5 a box and they catch just as many fish as others I've used. Because of the cost saving and what seems to me like the same catch ratio I use these pretty much for everything now. __________________ Simon "4 Rods" TorbayFishing.Com - Beginners guide to sea fishing, news, reviews & more!

Varivas and Mustads for me. Mustads for Big Cod fishing and Conger etc.... Varivas for all else. Supper sharp hook points. The Big mouth range good for general Cod and Skate fishing in the channel. Use saltwater champions for scratching rigs and Sole, flounder etc. Damn fine hooks. Good value for money.

Re: Sea Fishing Hooks I use whatever I've got in the tackle box. Its about time I paid more attention the the more important parts of the tackle, so, looking at the various replies to this thread I'll get some more. There was a thread not too long ago which was talking about hooks that can bend out when snagged. Which ones are best for that situation? __________________ Come on you Irons
