| zziplex 4500 Anyone know anything about these rods?? just picked up a mint condition one for a silly price!!! not even any cracking of the varnish on the rings. the tip feels really nice too the only thing is it has the reel in the down position which i'll have a go at and if i don't get on with it i'll take it off carefully with a dremmel and re-shrink tube it and get some good coasters. believe its a 4-6oz...anyone confirm this? any info appreciated, i know its a good couple of years old but it hardly looks as if its been used....now for me to beat it up like the rest of my gear!!! john __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size     |

| Re: zziplex 4500 Have now used it a couple of times once on the Cardiff foreshore, clean to roughish ground loaded with a 5oz pulley pennel and large baits and really nice, great casting and could put a bait 100yards with ease. 2nd occasion just a casting session down the beach while i was away down newquay west wales and it really flies with a nice off ground cast, just got to perfect the pendulmn now which i've been told by clive vedmore in gary evens that its perfect for this and he still owns and fishes with one and is one of the best rods zziplex ever made in his mind __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size |
