doggie and pouting. The doggie was easier to deal with because their skin a lot tougher than the pouting.

well i havent caught anyfish recently but afew of the flounders i have had had the hook down really far and 1 was really small and had the hook about half way down

Flatties are pigs! They always seem to take the hooks deep.

i very rarely get a hook out with ease, plus there mouths are quite small so it's hard to get down there

I have one of those Gemini T-Bar disgorgers that work well. They have a long shank so you can work away from the fish ans you're not messing around by the mouth.
