| shimano rods hi all, are these rods any good, in particular the catana surf range? looking at getting a pair of rods,fixed spool guides, 13 or 14ft, 4-8oz, roughly 80 pounds each. any other recomendations? thanks in advance chris |

| Re: shimano rods those rods are spot on mate. i had one last year but i snaped it when i put 2 sets of feathers on and caught 7mackie,2bass and a pollock all at once. grrrrrr. back to the subject brillaint rods but if you want the same quality, try the leeda olypic range. love them. i have 3 i love them so much. and there only 25 quid each. super rods. |

| Re: shimano rods just read a review of these rods and it said they were only ringed for multipliers. was only one out of a dozen that said so. could you confirm this? |
