Looking for a new rod/reel combo.

Hi Guys

Recently got myself a Salt long surf/Penn 850. Finding it a good combo. Now looking for my second rod / FS, Was thinking about a Hellbender hs or prem Looking at spending 130 on the rod not sure how much on the reel yet!

Thing is there is so much choice!

What do you guys recommend?

THanks

Re: Looking for a new rod/reel combo.

I have a 15ft Shakey Team Extreme Titanium & a Grauvell technos 4500 X (silver 15ft) married to penn 850s.
Both were about the 150 mark, think they may be 160 now. I found the bite indication better on the Shakespeare so now have another of them rung for the multiplier.
Have never tried your two options - so sorry can't make any comparisons.
As to the Navi - got a 3rd 850 after stripping the oscilating bar being too vigourous on a big bit of the BC. . Will be trying a different make when the next one dies (soon unless I give it a good clean).
