Watermouth Bay

Hi, I am looking for some local knowledge for fishing from the Beach at Widemouth Bay Nr Bude, as we will be holidaying there early next month. Any help on what bait or rigs to use, along with any good places to fish nearby would be be good. Lastly let me know the best place for Tackle and Bait and if best to pre order before going.

not sure on tackle and bait philip

but although not fished there ( its on list to do) i know that area is mainly flat surf beaches and known for rays( smalleyed and possibly others) and bass

so long flowing traces 2/0 or 3/0 hooks and sandeel for the rays, squid or crab for the bass
