| Ron Thompson rod BREAK! may flounder my first fish! having shore fished twice with out success thanks to the forum,utube and sea angler mag i was not disheartened and have jumped right in and been as you may have read before invited to join a match on saturday, completely out of my depth not least with knowledge i have been making rigs, ordering bait, watching casting tuition, reading articles ,forum reports i am as ready as i can be or at least i would be if my eagerly awaited new 15ft ron thompson rod hadnt broken on first cast in a field with a 6oz lead attached, my thanks to swifty's....SWIFTY_FISHING_TACKLE.CO.UK for all the help as i now eagerly wait for delivery of my slightly more expensive but i gather well worth it new 13ft DAIWA beach caster.....god i hope i catch something ,the missus thinks that this is another flash in the pan that i will have given up by next week,but let me tell you guys i am so excited i cant wait,thinking i may even join a club!  biggest fish?i will be so happy just to catch my first fish    |
