Hi All,

I have seen the reports some of you have posted about kayaks and have decided its time to get one myself, the only problem is Mrs TMH.

Despite the obvious benefits to our marriage (you catch more fish from a yak, therefor need to spend less time fishing and more time helping round the house, garden and kids) I am still hitting an waful lot of resistance to my proposal.

Just wondering if any of you yak owners would like to share your techniques of wife/girlfiend/other persuasion or do I simply need to find a more sympathetic new Mrs TMH? devorce is a last option, naturally, so please help..

thanks all, but still nothing that would work with Mrs TMH. she still hasn't forgiven me for the time I took my car in for a service, got carried away in the dealership and came home in a Lotus Elise and that was 6 years ago! (Has anyone tried to get a 13ft 2 piece into an elise?)

there is a drink in it for anyone who comes up with answer to my matramonial quandry

by the way Maghouse, I already spend a lot of time in my shed too as am not allowed to have fishing gear in the house. Aparently it smells of worm guts. Mrs TMH has the nose of a beagle.(and the humour of a matiarch elephant)

that better be a an amazing session for 12K mate. The only thing Mrs TMH wants is a new kitchen, and the one one she wants is 25K with my trade discount and me fitting it. add that on to the price of the yak + extras (you may as well get the fish finder etc) and that yak could be coming up to 30 grand..... there must be another way?
