A little help needed from the fishing community

Hi all,

As a keen fisherman myself, i'm currently doing a bit of research for my university degree and I hope to get some comments from the fishing community on the topic of.....wait for it.....fishing knives!

I wondered whether you'd be able to provide a quick response to the following questions:

How much would you tend to pay for a fishing knife?
What are the best brands to go for?
What is the knife used for?
Would a knife that never needed to be sharpened be of interest to you?

It would be great if you'd be able to take the time to answer these questions,all help would be greatly appreciated.
