| Hi, I'm new to sea fishing. Does anyone know of anyone/anywhere offering lessons on sea fishing and crab fishing and so on. Even (perhaps especially) in finding things on the beach! If you can? I would very much like to find out where I can sea fish, and what one can find on the beach at this time of year. Thanks! |

| Re: Sea fishing lessons Welcome to the forum Catherine. You can get lessons, fishyrob does them and i m pretty sure he s based in Brighton. If you look for him on "world sea fishing forum" you should find him and i think he may even post on here?? Anyway you shouldnt really have to pay for it,just arrange to meet a few anglers on the south coast and you ll soon pick it up. If you do contact Rob he s a very nice bloke and not scared of woman,i think ![]() ![]() __________________ One day i will post a catch report again. |

| Re: Sea fishing lessons Hi Catherine, Welcome to the Forum. I believe the only qualified Sea Fishing Instructor in the South of England is Ian Houlton of Moonfleet Angling. He has been vetted by the local authorities and is qualified to deal with children etc. www.moonfleet-angling.com I know him personally and he will advise you one way or another. | Re: Sea fishing lessons There are about a dozen qualified sea instructors in the South - PAA/UKSport England qualifications and each has enhanced CRB check, First Aid Cert and Child Protection Certificate. There used to be a list of us on NFSA website; but I don't know where that's gone now. AT??? (Actually, the list is still here .... http://www.nfsa.org.uk/ Click on Education > Instructors) 'Fishyrob' is slightly different as he specialises in 'guided days' and as far as I know does not have formal Coaching qualifications; although he is very good at what he does. | Hello all, Gosh, thank you very much indeed for that - it's incredibly helpful! You're all so kind, thank you! Now, I looked on the nfs website, as fishyrob (?is that right) and his days sounded just perfect - but couldn't see him there - is he on that site? Thanks again! |

| Re: Sea fishing lessons hi Catherine put "world sea fishing forum" into google - It's a mainly blue in colour site. You will probably have to register to send FishyRob a PM (private message). :) __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:> |
