Not a bad Bass?

Cant remember if i posted this on here ,pretty sure i never but if i did then i m going senile

Anyway a few months ago i got a phone call off my mate who said his dad had caught a decent Bass whilst they were fishing .
He said it measured 38 inches long but they hadnt weighed it and had put it back.
AT this i spat my coffee out and asked him if he was sure,oh yes he said ,and he s not the sort to exagerate.
Anyway heres the pic of the beast ,its a bit poor but whatever the size of this Bass its a very near Brit record and the catch of a life time.

Weight to length a 36 inch Bass is about 18-19lb,this one was 38inches so its a bit more than 13 even tho its a lean fish

eat it? no thanks mate. once you get over 8-9 lbs your bass starts not to be too good. bloody nice fish though i'd guess around 19lb. I bet he felt that thing take the bait!
