Car parking Charges List

Wondered if doing a list of local beaches and carparking charges might be usefull to people

thought i'd start with a couple of our local ones, but if we all keep adding venues etc it got to help all

Charmouth -------60p per hour 8am-9pm free overnight
Lyme regis -------£2 per 2 hours minimum
Budliegh -------80p per hour 24/7 365days a year
Branscombe ------£1 per hour first 4 hours then £5 for 8 hours( barrier stops vans and campers)

I will add more as go to more places as well

dave

Brighton Marina:
Multi storey - free 24 hours. Ignore 4 hour rule.
Don't use ASDA car park - you will get ticketed.
There is 1 hour free parking at Eastern end of marina village for access to East arm. Your entry ticket at the barrier will get you back out for free within that hour. Best advice if fishing East arm - drop someone off at Eastern end with all the gear then driver takes car back to multi storey and then walk back to East arm along the Boardwalk.

West arm is just a short walk from the multi storey.

Re: Car parking Charges List

Oh what a pong! I think thats a job for my missus (I wont tell her about the rotting bait)

many years ago i used to own a small garage, one of our customers was a vet, he used to stick all the dead animals he accumulated in a chest freezer and every so often he would stick them in the boot of his beat up old Austin Allegro and drive them to the crematorium. The rear hatchback on the aggro had a dodgy lock and we used to occasionaly have to open it from inside by climbing over the back seat.He rang me one morning and told me the lock had stuck, but that the boot was crammed full of bin bags with dead pets, rotting budgies, a python , dogs and cats. My heart sank. But then I had a brain wave, I told the vet to bring it up and my partner Mick would fix it! but not to tell him the contents of the boot. I pretended to have to go and do some paperwork in the office and told my partner the vet was popping up with a small job. When he arrived Mick dived over the back seat into the jaws of hell. 20 years later my sides still hurt from laughing. I didnt have any sympathy because it was payback for stunts he had played on me in the past.
