Fishing Tackle Hi all, Over the years I have managed to collect a fair amount of boat/shore fishing tackle. As a 67 year old fart I've decided to off load most of it, i.e. rods and reels, boxes and trace pouches, worm sucker, John Holden Beach Buddy plus a thousand and one other odds and ends. What do I do with it? I don't want to sell it, I would rather give it away. Please, no P.M's asking for it, I just want it to go to ????? suggestions please. I'm not giving up the sport, just trying to offload soime tackle in excellent condition. Thanks Drew __________________ All that Glitters is not Gold Secretary of The Blandford Sea Angling Club

Re: Fishing Tackle I reckon local clubs with junior sections would welcome it or you could raffle it off or fleebay it and give to charity. They dont make holden buddys anymore and they fetch a very good price still. __________________ One day i will post a catch report again.

Re: Fishing Tackle Junior section sounds best. A local tackle shop might rent complete sets (rod/reel line & a trace) out for £10 a week (+deposit) to holiday makers. If it isn't returned.... so be it. Might encorage newcomers to the sport. They may even put some of the money to charity. Shop could still make on spare rigs, weights etc.. and may increase sales of tackle, eventualy. Down side could be lots of left over rubbish on the beaches from those who don't really care. ![]() __________________ Spahill <:--- --- --- --- It was this big --- --- --- ---:>
