| recently bought this, told it was a great lamp. few problems, it stutters on high after the mandatory 30 pumps it only works on full for 5 minutes, and on medium it lasts 10 minutes what happens if i add a petrol additive tot he petrol ? greater light or knackered lamp ? any ideas ?..is there a repair kit to solve all wear and tear problems ? heres a free laugh, the first 2 new mantles i fitted burst into flame, and disintegrated when i touched them even took them back as faulty and gave the store guy a laugh too . |

| Re: Coleman (powerhouse unleaded 295) Hi Bud, It seems to me as if your lamp over time has carbon on the main parts. Try a spot of Redex in your fuel and light it as per the Manuel, this will clear all the built up carbon and hopefully you will see the light at the end of the tunnel lol. It,s worth giving it a go mate. Also have a check to see if the pump is working ok, look to see if (the rubber) has no wear and tear in it. |
