| Re: plaice, flounder or dab?? Hiya. Dabs tend to be rough when rubbed from tail to head, but flounders are smooth and slippery in both directions. Where I live on the wirral, flounders don't tend to have spots. They tend to be a marbled greenie brownie colour. I think you have a nice plaice there. Karl     |
