Newbie advice

Evening all,

Am hoping, weather permitting, to get to the east cost on thursday or friday this week to take my kids (11, 13 and 15) to try their luck at beach casting. Rationale being that there is a competition on the beach at yarmouth on 31st between 10 and 1500 - so tides should be ok during the day - don't want to get into night fishing too early.

Can anyone suggest somewhere to try that might have been productive recently that will get the kids (and me) 'hooked'.

Thanks in anticipation

Adam

Welcome to the Forum Andynw

Don't know your area, but someone will come along who does.

I always used to take them one at a time...... they always had my attention that way and they learned quicker!

Good luck!

Re: Newbie advice

if you were heading yarmouth way(which not sure from your address)try gorleston just south as quieter ,free parking and can fish easy from pier, or tie kids to when had enough(trouble is mine wriggled too much to hold the knots well)
but only place ever fished on east coast
