Re: Casting

I've been pendulum casting for about 7 yrs now and furthest I've put a lead over grass is 236yrds... some guys where I live go out everyday, and I mean everyday, and just cast!!! me...I'd rather be fishing!!

Different story when these guys come to put 3 baits out in a match! they're lost...Half of them are not interested in catching fish anyway, all they wanna do is cast..it's a macho thing..." look how far I can cast, I'm great!!" and then my reply is, "look how many fish i've caught while you've been casting!"

everyone to their own I suppose...

Cool Re: Casting

I am a sea angler casting instructor, and what people charge varies but its never much usually a bit of petrol money, and some do it for nothing

I enjoy teaching people to cast be it for fishing or tournament casting.

I personally do both i fish matches and cast at the UKSF and get equal enjoyment out of them both.

Cheers,
Terry
