Lack of fishing has delusionalised me

Perhaps I made a word up in the title of this thread?
Anyway the point is that I start my new job a week today and so 'potentially' I have a full week free to pursue early cod and late bass. All into double figures I would hope.

However, I have woken up every morning this week to seriously nasty weather! And I have just seen the weather forecast which states that wednesday onwards is going to be even worse weather than this weekend just gone!!!

This news destroyed me so I searched the net in boredom and have discovered what sounds like quite a cool game. Im not honestly much into games - especially on a pc (dont mind a bit of xbox with a few beers and friends), but I have found a game called Fishsim2 which looks brilliant. They have real-life coarse, sea and game venues and its all based on a very clever database so there are game records etc. It is extremely indepth and realistic anyway - do a search if ur bored and read for yourself - there are hundreds of online virtual fishing clubs aswell who all fish in matches against each other online.
Its unlike any fishing game I have ever seen - its very realistic (tides, fish size, feeding patterns etc ect) and you have to use the right rigs and tackle and bait to be successful.

Just thought would let you know coz the weather is looking bad for the rest of the week (after wednesday)...

Cant judge for myself how good it is coz i have only just ordered the full game (but there is a free downloadable demo of the game online). Looks perfect as something to have running in work!! lol

in the meantime,the weather looks great for tomorrow,good chance to get rid of that depression and wet a line or two,
looking at the forecast it might be the last chance this month

juan it looks good i downloaded the demo some time ago only thing is you cant catch any fish on the demo let me know what you think about the full version i could be tempted to become a fair weather fisherman and a rough weather online fisherman

I have the game, and all it's updates, and once you get going it really is great. It's quite hard to get started, but when you've downloaded all the tackle, baits, venues etc.. it's great

i`d love to play it...& try to catch some fish, but downside is you cant eat it! lol
