| i have also got 2 north stars and a tilley lamp in the shed doing nothing,but as welsh steve said LEDS have come a long way over the years and its not worth the hassle and time mucking around with these ancient items,not are they bulky and a pain to light,but the space they take up in your boot also come in -LEDS LEDS LEDS ALL THE WAY-regards steve[m/side] |

| Re: tilley lamps Things of the past m afraid. Ive got a tilley and a powerhouse gathering dust in the shed,with the amount of quility headlamps you can now get theres just no use for them. ![]() __________________ One day i will post a catch report again. |

| Re: tilley lamps I have a coleman gathering dust too. I now use an LED lamp, true you can't warm your hands on them, but that is why god gave clothing pockets. Easier to use and no risk of spilling fuel. |
