Without a doubt one of my best buys was a floatation suit (Penn).

The only thing you have to worry about in the winter is how rough the sea is. Rain, snow, sleet and temperatures no longer play any part in deciding if you go out or not.

what gloves does every1 use
i use some fingerless wool gloves with fleace stuff inside which are warm untill they get wet, but you dont have to take em off to do stuff unlike some big bulky gloves

try Neoprenes with fingers that fold back on themselves, they keep you warm and most of the good ones will keep you dry. Good thing is u can fold back the fingers and thumb and still use them when changing bait etc, then fold them back and you are nice and warm again.

You wait, it will be flat calm and as warm as toast on the 7th

i really would not mind, it would be worth spending £75 on a suit for it t be calm
