pivot booms??

how do you use pivot booms??
just noticed i still got a pack on my desk n i dont know how to rig em properly
i cant see how you would be able to make it spring back up in the water

Blimey,

Haven't used these for years, but assuming they haven't changed, I seem to remember that you trap them with beads, like a normal swivel type paternoster, and have the pivot facing so you can clip them down. IIRC, when they've unclipped and tension has been applied to the line (i.e. you tighten down to your rig, they magically spring outward again).

Never really got on with them myself, I think if you're casting far enough to warrant clipping the baits down, I'm not sure a boom is really the thing anyway .. but that's just IMO
