Good luck mate,

I bet they will be destined for the Bristol Channel Cod when you come over?

Cheers

Could be! How did you guess? Although, rashly, I'm hoping to get enough to have a trip out with FishyPaul this week too. You know, get in some practice before my buddy arrives from HK!

Cheers,
JB.

4 Lobsters! Jammy Git!! I've never, ever, hooked a single 1 and I just love Lobbie!

I do hope it's not going to blow up later this week - but my diary seems to be filling up fast, I'll do drop you a PM tomorrow.

Shaun, what brand do you smoke? - I'll see if there's anything he or I can do. Just quit myself - still miss 'em like mad when I'm fishing!

Cheers,
JB.

Re: Additives and scent baits

Digging update - fork being cremated, and the ashes spread on Sandwich Bay .. What a laugh - 1.5 hours for 12 yellowtails. God knows how I used to do that for beer money - these days I'd be lucky to earn a cheeky half!

Didn't help that I got some duff tidal info from the BBC website (or misread it lol), and by the time the tide was off to the more promising ground, I was knackered.

I'd also like to say that my "office pansie" hands, are now ripped to shreds by that nasty sand! Bugger that for a lark .. 15 quid in petrol to get there, and another £9.50, spent on 2 score of blow and a score of yellows afterwards, so I can actually go fishing tomorrow!

Tee-hee, brought back good old memories, though!

Cheers,
JB.

Cheers chaps .. I'll be on later tomorrow to report the (lack) of success ...

As you well know, Shaum, one requires a sense of humour to be a long-term devotee of angling! I reckon if we all got together for an annual outing, there'd be no lack of laughter!!
