Back in the summer i was carping with some squid flavour boilies,let me tell you they really do stink,not just stink,they chuck up, its horrible.having said that,the fish love 'em,
With that in mind,i wonder if a bait like that might just have a use in the sea.
In my corner of the world the visiibility is often zilch or close to it and the fish must feed on scent alone
now i know i will feel a total pillock casting out a boilie on the beach ,but imagine the benefits

an endless supply of bait
same quality summer or winter
no more bait digging

I am going to try it sometime in the next few trips,(i will make sure nobody is watching) and let you know what happens

I have often thought the same , as boilies are easy to hook and stay on plus you can wack them out far

I would be very interested to hear what the results are

Might even give them a go on the next boat trip out . Just think - five smelly boilies on a hair rig , got to be as good if not better than a squid

Good idea, Paul - just because it's never been tried, doesn't mean it isn't going to work. Perhaps it has been tried, and it's being kept under wraps! (conspiracy theory ).
