| Club casting day Pt2 Had another casting day with the club today met in a slightly muddy field north of exeter again was really hopeing to get this right today with the new rods ( last time a consistent 120yrds with a rougue 160) first go , so clipped on the 7HT and a steady cast gave me a respectable 140 to register  but due to the winding line on whilst walking teqniquethat i am so cr*p at I had a big bunch up on 1 side ( probably trying to avoid the cow pats) so decided to just flick out to straighten ( Bang big horrid birdie) so on with the 525  well i didnt seem to matter what i did i hit 135 next 3 casts Si and Nige were having there own battle again Si winding one up when i left Nige had beaten the 200 and si was 195 well it was time for my last cast as had work to go to  , So OFF with the Magnets, LOOSEN the spool and lets wind one up  well you could tell by the cheers of the other members behind what happened next a full 75 yrds went out and the rest birdied horribly on reel  But another great morning loads of Pee takeing, especially towards those who fluffed casts < so I heard plenty  next time i will beat my best from last time( will sort out reels before) thanks again to the moores and si for organiseing  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |

How much time do you get between casts to psyche yourself up/ unpick nests? How long is the tape measure?
