Alderney , Channel Islands

Hey Guys has anybody been to Alderney fishing at all? I recieved a brochure from a guesthouse on Alderney yesterday and they offer flights and accomodation packages at very reasonable rates.

Anyone ever been there? I know the fishing is absolutely incredible....

Re: Alderney, Channel Islands

Yes - many years ago as used to stop there as the harbour is good

The breakwater (harbour wall )is very good and the boat fishing is ment to be great

Would love to go back there and give it a good go ( but unless you like fishing or birdwatching do not think there is anything to do bar drinking )

Re: Alderney , Channel Islands

Yes - great fishing - beer ( had a great run a shore once there , god the next day on the boat was hard )

As for local life , they get a lot of boats coming in every night so the pub gets busy

How much are the b&bs there sounds a good trip
