| Catching Wind Fish from Palanga Pier (Lithuania) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Lq14Il7M28 Every Spring the fishermen in Lithuania flock to the Pier in Palanga where for just a few short days they bag up on Wind fish (Vėja Žuvė). Now when I say bag up, I mean 100 LB of fish in a few hours is more than possible. It is a spectacle that you have to see in person to really appreciate just how incredible it can be but for the sake of those not likely to jump on a plane in the next few days I have at least tried to depict it with a short video. I may not have captured quite as much as I might normally but when walking along the pier when these guys are in full swing you have to keep one eye out for flying hooks and swinging fish while using the other to make the film I have also spent some time at the start of the video giving just a little intro into the resort town of Palanga… I hope you enjoy it __________________ http://wandering-angler.com Last edited by Fishing Forum Admin; 05-19-2008 at 06:32 PM. |
