Another question about sardines

What is the most effective way of presenting sardines? I was unable to get fresh mackeral tonight so picked up a couple sardines.(remembered a recent post with reference to sardines)

I was always under the impression that they were a soft and oily fish so I am a bit worried about them flying off on the cast.

Re: Another question about sardines

Hi mate, when I posted that question I hadn't used it and thought that it would be "too soft" for serious application so I tried it any way ,as you described, and found it to be excellent. Will be using it regularly from now on.
