Bait digging

Gents, this might interest you ...

A new prototype of a lug digging machine is appearing on sale on Tuesday.
Basically it is high pressure water rake that is pulled along just in the tidal margins - no need to look for casts (so can be used night and day) just drive back and forth in about 3 to 6 inches of water and the rake lifts the worms that are then collected in a special net behind .
The good thing about this model is that it uses a quad bikes power supply to power the upgraded compressor and so lifts everything including razors and cockles without damaging them and can be easily sorted from the collector behind without any damage – any unwanted molluscs and fish fry etc can be safely returned.
The machine can average 50lbs of lug per tide the word has got around and commercial bait collectors from far afield have asked to buy limited rights from the inventor.
There is also talk with an even better wider rake it is hoping to hit at least 80lb per tide possibly 100lb for the first time ever.
Hopefully, the cost of bait will reduce drastically in price !
