| Re: Turning hardback crabs into peelers ????? No, but frozen hermit crabs certainly work and one or two of the 'blast freezing' companies market them. I think the frozen shore crabs would go too 'mushy inside; worth a try, though! Don't forget that peeler spiders can be deadly for smuts when they 'mass peel'! Seems spiders tend to peel in a location at the same time, while shore crabs can peel any time when their house gets too small!  |
