Smile looking forward to weekend

well apart from poxy work saturday, plus theres a very slim chance of some fishing( so got bait just in case) over weekend

what i am looking forward too is that on Sunday the Club is doing a casting teach in at a farmers field somewhere north of exeter and i cant wait, for several reasons

1 : I should learn better casting( well it cant get worse)

2: will be interesting to see how far i can(or cant as case may be) actually lob a lead ( as will have field marked out)

3: will be great to see how it should be done( go si and the moore bros lets see that 200yrd cast)

4: should be a damn good social and worth a pint or 2 on way home

will take camera as ever, should be an interesting day

dave

Re: looking forward to weekend

I hope you have a great time Dave.

I have just packed my kit up for a trip to the Stour with Neil and Claudia in the morning, got a humongous bucket of maggots and a handful of feeders, hoping for a decent chub ( best sofar is a chublet of under a pound!).

I've already asked about the reinforced bunker for us to stand behind mate. They don't call him the crack-off-king for nothing ya know!

Oh, and I'll have the camcorder Twids. Just gotta figure out how to get the footage onto the PC first. Might be a bit trick when I've lost the driver disk! Still I'll have a go for the sake to the comedy levels of the forum!

Should be a fun afternoon.

Right until someone actually measures my cast for the first time. That might get a touch depressing.
