Re: park shore (beaileu)

just kidding, it's a shame that a mark like that might be on the way out, in fairness to the estate they've been warning of it for about four years now every year might be the last because of the mess left behind, i guess they've had enough.

too right mate ... its not only down to the estate , but the SSI ...special scientific interest , ive had my best ever session there with over 33 lb of fish in 1 sitting .... it will be a damn shame if its over

Re: park shore (beaileu)

I don't know the venue, but share your irritation at the thought of a few wallies spoiling it for everyone.

Have you thought of approaching the owners about forming a Park Shore Angling Syndicate? Fishing only available to (screened) members and their accompanied guests.

That's what we did when the behaviour of a few members of a local angling club resulted in the owner chucking the club off his lake.

Re: park shore (beaileu)

Good idea that - the fishing syndicate - especially as the mark has that rare quality of throwing up some potential british record stingers and hounds when the conditions are right.

Lee following on from Vagabond's comments might be worth seeing if the estate would allow Nailor's to organise a fishing syndicate scheme, would be a big big plus for people considering joining the club if it meant they'd get access to park shore?

Re: park shore (beaileu)

tony we have tried this , and even offered to have a beach clean before every session, but like i said its not just down to the estate, its an area of scientific interest , so the s.s.i are involved ...... it will be a joint decision between the estate and the ssi ... and i cant see us being able to fish there again !!!
