sob sniff, and it bloody hurts too, would say fingers crossed to get out next weekend, but if i try that i think i might pass out.

Bad luck and I hope it doesn't thwart the fishing for too long. Nothing to do with fishing but many years ago, just after I got married we had some friends coming round and whilst the wife was luxuriating in the bath, I was doing the cooking, washing up etc, when my thumb found a particularly sharp knife in the bowl. With blood pouring (I still have the scar) I rushed to the bathroom and told my wife (a nurse!). The response: " Well don't bleed everywhere, they'll be here soon".

A bag of frozen peas will do, Hold your arm in the air to stop the bleeding, Get a mate to drive you to the beach, hook the finger on a sharp size 2/0 fine wire longshank hook & belt it out 120yds using your Zippy & Mag elite. Pout will eat anything mate....
