| Case of the missing Bass Well this afternoon i had a Bass of 2.5lb. Ive just been outside to gut it and clean it and its gone from my bucket  Ive wandered all over my garden in the rain with my headlamp on and the only thing i found was its guts on my pavement. I cant believe it,all i can put it down to is a Fox, a big bloody Cat, or my Labrador who has got a very muddy nose Or maybe a werewolf  Oh well no Bass for tea tomorrow __________________ One day i will post a catch report again.     |

 Re: Case of the missing Bass Reminds me of a time many years ago that I went wrecking down at Penzance & came home with two very large Ling (20lb +). I cut their heads off & gutted them in the back garden & cut them into fillets. Took the fillets into the house to put into the freezer, then went back into the garden to clean up.
