we had the fith match of the season on sun the weather was good sea was also good i went too a place called out newton wich i fished on fri afternoon and has a good session we had 5 codling and 10 yting in 3hrs it was abit hetic fot a while, any way back too the match my lad had a yting first chuck at low water then nowt for a couple of hours then i had a codling of 3.1/2lb dan had anouther yting and that was it so we went back there was alot of fish weighed in the biggest bag was 35lb mixed of cod and yting there was a couple of bags at 20lb plus the biggest fish was 11lb.5oz cod there was alot around the 6-7lb we are having a good run of fish up here at the mo hope it carries on dan also won the jnr match wich takes him close to the leader in the jnrs.

Well done Rich.. Sounds like a cracking session. 11lb cod huh? Hell of a fish. I'd kill for a 1lb'er to be honest.

I just missed out of another trip to Hull this week. Couldn't persuade the boss that it was "vital" enough. 40p/mile meant it was bloody vital to my Christmas beer fund . Now I've read how the fishings going I'm even more gutted. Ah well... I'm sure I can break something on their server soon if I try really hard. When I do I'll give you a shout mate.
