| Hugh Stoker Does anyone know if Hugh Stoker is still around? One of my heroes when i was a kid, physically that is, mentally i've never managed to get beyond 8! I still have a couple of his books, i remember it was him, Digger Derrington, John Darling and Trevor Housby that were the catalysts for a lot of my angling. Found a bit about Digger Derrington on the net, but would like to find out more about Trevor Housby, i know he had a "colourful" life! And his son now skippers one of the best big game boats in the world. A friend of mine works in the hospital, and says he's sure he saw Hugh Stoker in there a couple of years back, as far as I know, he lived in Dorset somewhere, near Bridport I think... __________________ Remember what the dormouse said, ...... | Re: Hugh Stoker I've got two books by him that are great! When I was a kid, I read them to death. Covered every bit of Sea fishing I needed. I was envious of his son who was always pictured with a huge fish, with his father by his side! Not sure if he is still about! |

| Re: Hugh Stoker Don't know either mate, it'd be great to meet him, for me he's one of angling's greats, i bet you have "Sea Angling with the specimen hunters", with Hugh in front of Golden Cap with a pair of decent Bass! __________________ Remember what the dormouse said, ......
