Where to fish near Hull.

I'm being despatched to our office in Hull next week and after some fairly serious discussion, I've been allowed to take my car and therefore my rods (40p/mile, should be a nice littel earner! ).

Can any of our local members point me in the right direction for somewhere to fish and a decent tackle shop for bait? How's the area fishing at the moment? Have the Cod started to show yet? What rigs/bait should I be looking to use?

I might not even get out to be honest, as there's a fair chance I could get seduced by the companies hospitality , but I'd rather have the option than not!

hi rich next week are small tides so holmpton should be ok or a place called spurn road iam off from tues day if you wanted too give me a ring pm me and il give you my number it will be easier to explane where too go and what you need etc
