Advice on med/alps fishing?

I am moving to the south of france shortly. Luckily my wife has sanctioned the purchase of a new boat (and, incidentally a Ferrari, oh my dream has come true). I do fly fish as well as the favourite....sea fishing. Anyone got any info on the fishing down there? The area is between Nice and St Tropez, but as retired I can travel. Going for a weeks holiday down there next week and will be taking gear, maybe out on a charter.
Any info much appreciated.

Hey Ping....I tell my wife that we are now becoming property developers....but in a country that produces so much wine????? I kinda think we'll just be dreaming about it......and polishing the car and boat!!!! Errr when sober so won't be doing much of that either. Chuckle.
