Re: No sea fishing for a while

Silly muppet what did you do that for? lol
Mmmh I remember those tablets.....felt like I had a real bad hangover after I stopped taking them though...and that had nothing to do with the 5pints of lager I had to wash the tablets down with

Re: No sea fishing for a while

so is that six weeks off work too, because diving with bust ribs is a no no

I am off work sick at the moment too, and not fit enough to go fishing, it is a real drag!

Get well soon

Cant see it being as long as 6 weeks (hopefully)
You cant do anything for ribs just take pain killers and then supose whet the pain goes back to diving
Hope you get well soon and back to fishing as it is a right pain as you say.

Re: No sea fishing for a while

Check with the doc, but as far as I know if the bones have not knitted fully then there is a risk when diving that the ribs could damage the lung. Six weeks is normal for full knitting of the bone.

And as a diver you do not want to risk a damaged or at worst a punctured lung.

Take it easy and get yourself signed fit before you hit the water again, please.
