cod head is on a distinguished road
bimini knot (re done)

i have re done this post as some thing has gone wrong with the other.
1,double over the last 2ft or so of your main line to form a loop.
the mainline is yellow & the leader is clear.

2,Hold the end against your mainline with your right hand. Make 15-20 twist in the loop .

3, Slide the line over your foot, maintaining equal pressure on each end, with firm pressure on the mainline move the tag end so it's 90degree's to the mainline increase pressure on both ends to compress the twist, increased pressure makes the knot more compact.
4, Release some of the pressure and run the tag end towards your foot where the line splits.
5, Close the knot off using a half hitch round each side of the loop.

6. Now make a half hitch around both sides of the loop, snug up the hitches and trim the tag end and remove from your foot.

7, Allow the loop to twist up, push a leader through the loop and make 3 turns up around the loop and 2 back towards the end of the loop. Then push the tag end through the loop.

8, Use a bit of saliva and pull together gently and trim tag ends, you can get a smaller knot by putting more pressure on at stage 3.

9, The knot should end up like this hopefully!!

this is a very strong knot.
