| bimini knot hope this helps , 1, double over the last 2ft or so of your main line. the main line is yellow the leader is clear. 2, hold the end against the main line with your right hand make 15-20 twists in the loop. 3, slide the line over your foot maintaining equal pressure on each end, with firm pressure on the mainline, move the tag end so its at 90 degrees to the main line increese pressure on both ends to compress the twists, increesed pressure makes a more compact knot at this stage. 4, release some of the pressure and run the tag end towards your foot where the line splits. 5, close the knot off useing a half hitch round each side of the loop, 6, now make half hitch round both sides of the loop.snug up the hitches and trim the tag end.and remove from your foot. 7,allow the loop to twist up. 8, push your leader through the loop and make three turns round the loop and two back towards the end of loop and push the tag end through the loop or you can wrap the leader round your index finger three times and thred it through the loops that you have made with your leader like this 9, use abit of saliva and pull togeather gently tight and trim tag ends . with practice you can get a small knot by putting more pressure on at stage three. 11, the knot should end up like this hopefuly. a very strong knot . __________________ forced too work born too fish |
