Re: venue info plz, burnham on sea. neap tides fish better than springs on the bristol channel. If your fishing b-o-s then fish what they call the lower light (lighthouse)if you dont know it once on the beach ask someone where the lowere light is and they will point you in the right place.hope this helps.or try severn beach off the wall as some codling have started to show there now.

Re: venue info plz, burnham on sea. so i hear ian, i spent most of last autumn/winter fruitlessly chaseing those elusive bloody codling as conditions looked half right from venue to venue, they always seem to avoid me like the plague. ![]() i've still got a half dozen or so species to target for points yet besides codling. so thats ;- 9 for us plus the 17 1/2 ? on your list which hopefully should push the moonrakers well up the board .codling have always been a holy grail for me, a bit like bass were for baggie, so i'll probably get a little obsessed with em again now they're starting to show here n there. mmmmmmmmmmmn ......... tomorow night,9pm-0400, neaps....chesil or severn beach..or a solent ebb tide. i'll see what the weather's up too tomorra , i recon chesil will be lumpy. __________________ beer so many venues, so little time.

Re: venue info plz, burnham on sea. Give this a go mate, loads of advice on all the Bristol Channel marks but the catch reports are a little sparse. Bristol Channel Angling There are usually a few catch reports on the Veals site too. Don't think the cod are really about yet but the summer species are still around.
